Open and wooded areas, primary use is for land navigation, also supports small unit tactics

Lightly wooded area, normally used in conjunction with A-13B and A-13C for land navigation, also supports small unit tactics

C-03

Wooded, small hilly terrain, numerous trains for vehicle traffic, also contains Range 39_IED training lanes

C-04

Combination of open and wooded areas, trails for convoy training, also part of the Range 39_IED lanes, contains a Conex Village for urban ops

C-05A

Lightly wooded area, normally used in conjunction with TA C-04 and/or TA C-05B, good for small unit tactics

C-05B

Wooded, hilly maneuver area; normally used in conjunction with TA C-04 and/or C-05A, good for small unit tactics

C-06 (aka RG 38)

 Large, hilly, open and wooded terrain; excellent for convoy training

C-09

Wooded, extremely mountainous; excellent for small unit tactics

D-02

Large open and wooded area; excellent for all types of small unit maneuver/tactical training

D-03A

Small open area, originally part of the RG 27 building complex

D-03B

Small narrow wooded area, normally used in conjunction with D-03A and/or D-03C

Medium size open and wooded maneuver area; contains several tank trails and a Conex Village

D-03D

Hilly, wooded area, contains several tank trails and a Conex Village; excellent for small unit tactics

Hilly, heavily wooded area, primary use is for Land Navigation training and small   unit tactics

D-05A

Rugged, wooded area, primary use for small unit tactical training

Large, hilly, wooded area; excellent for tactical training, limited access via roads/trails

NOTE:  All training areas are authorized for use with small arms weapons (blank fire). Most areas are also authorized use of pyrotechnic devices.

In addition, the use of Short Range Training Ammo (SRTA) may be used in various areas.  Use of SRTA requires submission of a non-standard training request. Can also be used with CCMCK and Simunitions with submission of non-standard training request.
